Maple Granola
Recipe adapted from Ontario Maple

Ingredients
3 cups large-flake rolled oats
1 1/3 cup almonds or pecans, chopped
3/4 cups sunflower seeds
1/3 cup sesame seeds
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2/3 cups Milestone Ridge maple syrup
3 tablespoons melted coconut oil
1/2 cup coconut chips (optional)
1/3 cup dried cranberries (optional)
1/3 cup raisins (optional)
Steps to Prepare
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, stir together the dry ingredients: oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, cinnamon, salt and ginger.
To the dry ingredients, add the wet ingredients: maple syrup and oil and mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
Spread the prepared mixture evenly on a baking sheet.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely.
Sprinkle with coconut chips, cranberries and/or raisins or whatever mix-ins you find satisfying!
How to Store
We recommend storing your granola in an airtight container. For the freshest taste, enjoy it within 2-3 weeks.
